My Lockdown Recount

I initially thought yay, I’ve got some time off school, but the reality sank knowing I would not see my friends for a month.
Although, on the bright side it was a little bit exciting, no one knew what was going to happen next. I was still sad because I could not see my friends, but it looked like I did get to see my friends, my teacher and the rest of my classmates after all. I got to see them in an app called Zoom to speak to them about schoolwork and homework. I think school’s probably going to open again on April 29th. I could see my friends and my teacher again.
Sometimes when I’m bored at home,
Whenever my Mum and Dad went shopping for some food supplies, I’ve always wanted to go with them to see if all the toilet paper, food supplies, sanitizer and tissues ile were emty, and if there were long lines. Now, we are only allowed to let one person in the shops. Sometimes I get really bored staying at home, so I make blanket forts.

This is my blanket fort. Otherwise I would just go for a walk with my Dad. Sometimes when I go for a walk with my Dad I see teddies in the windows. I think I know why they are putting bears       in the window, because there was a bear hunt. It’s sometimes fun being at home.

  1. Hi Aadirai,

I have had fun walking around looking for bears in windows around our neighbourhood too.

Isn't it amazing being able to chat and see all your friends on zoom with your teacher.

What has been your favourite part of being at home?
